The Rules by date page said that in 2025 the Bali tourist levy gained exemptions for KITAS and KITAP holders and for diplomatic, family reunion, student and golden visa holders. The Perda 2/2025 entry on the same site said the same and that the levy does not apply to golden visa holders.
The exemptions already existed in the Governor's regulation of 2024 (Pergub 2/2024 Pasal 6); the 2025 amendment moved them into the regional regulation (Perda 2/2025 Pasal 4A(2)) and left the amount unchanged. Holders of a golden visa or another visa type are exempt only after they apply through Love Bali at least five days before arrival and the province decides within three days (Pergub 2/2024 Pasal 7(1) to (3)). Both texts now say so.

The visas and stay page said the bridging visa named on the official B1 page was not described in the texts we read, and told readers to ask about it.
The mechanism is in Permenkumham 11/2024 (Pasal 80(3) huruf f, 86A, 94A and 94B, in force from 3 May 2024): a transition permit of up to 60 days, not extendable, that a holder of a visa on arrival, a limited permit or a permanent permit can ask for from inside Indonesia. The page now says so and points to the new page on extending or changing your visa, which describes it. The statement that a permit from a visa on arrival cannot itself be changed into a limited permit (PP 31/2013 Pasal 166(5) huruf a; Permenkumham 22/2023 Pasal 163(2)) is unchanged.

The page on extending a stay said an immigration guarantee can pay the charge for staying less than 60 days past the end date under PP 31/2013 Pasal 171D(2), as amended by PP 40/2023. Pasal 171A to 171E were inserted by PP 48/2021, and PP 40/2023 did not change ayat (2) of Pasal 171D.
The sentence now says Pasal 171D(2) was inserted by PP 48/2021 and not changed by PP 40/2023, and PP 48/2021 is listed among the sources. The 60 day figure is unchanged.

The page on villa management called KUHPerdata Pasal 1814 (the owner may revoke a mandate when he wishes) and Pasal 1338 (an agreement is withdrawn only by consent or on grounds in the law) two texts that do not fit. They do not conflict: Pasal 1814 is a ground the law sets. The open questions are whether a clause on a term or on irrevocability waives Pasal 1814, and whether the manager can claim damages if the owner revokes early.
The table row, the section on ending the agreement, the list of points we could not confirm and the question to the notary now name these two open questions and no longer speak of a conflict.

The selling and leaving page said in its English and Russian texts that a taxpayer who has left Indonesia for good can have his tax number deleted whether he was a resident taxpayer until then or not. The regulation speaks of a Penduduk, an Indonesian citizen or a foreigner who lives in Indonesia (PMK 81/2024 Pasal 1 angka 62), not of a tax resident.
PMK 81/2024 Pasal 28(2) huruf b separates a person who was a Penduduk until he left (angka 1) from a person who was not a Penduduk (angka 2). Penduduk means an Indonesian citizen or a foreigner who lives in Indonesia (PMK 81/2024 Pasal 1 angka 62), which is a different thing from being a domestic tax subject. The English and Russian texts now say Penduduk, as the Indonesian text already did. The rule itself, the documents and the conditions are unchanged. The new page on the tax number explains the difference.

The Renting a villa to guests page said that no official text we opened mentions booking platforms such as Airbnb. The official APOA registration form of the immigration directorate carries a tooltip on the user type that names airbnb among the kinds of lodging.
The sentence now says no legal text mentions booking platforms, and quotes the registration form's tooltip. The reading that a villa let to guests is covered, whichever site the guest booked on, is unchanged.

The page on renting a home said that we found no official text of a Bali or kabupaten rule that makes a foreign tenant, or the owner, register the tenant with the banjar or with the head of the neighbourhood.
The sentence now speaks of a Bali rule and the banjar only, and says that rules of the city of Denpasar (Indonesian citizens only) and of the regency of Jembrana about the head of the neighbourhood do exist; these rules, with the Minister's rule on temporary residents (Permendagri 74/2022, which names foreigners), are set out on the new page on registering in Bali.

The question to a construction company now asks for the Perizinan Berusaha (the NIB) and the SBU, and no longer names the IUJK.

The page on how to check a professional said the Dewan Arsitek Indonesia (DAI) runs registration in practice and was set up under the implementing regulations. The law says the Organisasi Profesi forms the DAI (UU 6/2017 Pasal 1 angka 14 and Pasal 34), and PP 15/2021 Pasal 31(1) says the DAI issues the STRA.
The architect row and the section on architects now say that the DAI is formed by the Organisasi Profesi, is independent and confirmed by the central government, and issues the STRA.

The How to check a professional page cited Pasal 39 of UU 6/2017 for the sanction on an architect, said that the Dewan Arsitek Indonesia handles complaints and sanctions, said that the PBG process requires a registered architect, and said that the law bars a client from using an affiliated contractor without limiting this to public-interest construction.
UU 6/2023 (Pasal 25 angka 13 and 14) deleted Pasal 39 and widened Pasal 38 of UU 6/2017: the sanctions (written warning, temporary stop, freezing or revocation of the STRA) are given by the Organisasi Profesi (Pasal 38(2)); the Dewan Arsitek Indonesia is a council the Organisasi Profesi forms (Pasal 34). The STRA procedure is in a government regulation, not a ministerial one (Pasal 13). A simple house may be designed without an architect (Pasal 6A), and the PBG process then still goes through a licensed architect (PP 15/2021 Pasal 30(6)). The ban on an affiliated contractor (UU 2/2017 Pasal 44, as changed by UU 6/2023) covers construction for the public interest only, defined in PP 22/2020 Pasal 72(3). The page now says so, adds the LPJK search of firms, and points to the new page on the construction contract.

The page on who decides what gave Pasal 13 for both writing and registering an Awig-Awig and Pasal 26 ayat 2 for the three kinds of Pararem, and said the Majelis Desa Adat endorses Awig-Awig and Pararem. In Perda Bali 4/2019 the duty to write an Awig-Awig is Pasal 13 ayat 4, its registration is Pasal 17, the three kinds of Pararem are in Pasal 18 ayat 2 and the registration of a Pararem is in Pasal 19 ayat 3. The Perda gives the MDA the task of accompanying a Desa Adat in writing its Awig-Awig and Pararem (Pasal 76 ayat 1 huruf d), not of endorsing them.
The page now cites Pasal 13 ayat 4 for writing an Awig-Awig, Pasal 17 ayat 1 for its registration, Pasal 18 ayat 2 for the three kinds of Pararem and Pasal 19 ayat 3 for registering a Pararem. It now says the MDA accompanies a Desa Adat in writing its Awig-Awig and Pararem, and that the provincial MDA's certificate is one of the papers required to register them (Pergub Bali 4/2020 Pasal 6 huruf d and 13 huruf d).

The page said a marriage of an Indonesian citizen abroad must be reported to the civil registry office within 30 days of returning to Indonesia (UU 23/2006 Pasal 37(4)). The elucidation of Pasal 17(3) of the Act says that a day in the articles after it means a working day.
The page now reads 30 working days, cites Pasal 37(4) and the elucidation, and says the safe course is to report within 30 calendar days of returning, which is earlier than 30 working days. The one-year period of the Marriage Law is unchanged.

The page gave the population office deadlines of UU 23/2006 (14 days to report an ITAS or an ITAP, 30 days to report arrival after a move, 14 days before leaving Indonesia, 30 days for the KTP-el and the family card) as plain days. The elucidation of the Act says that a day in these articles means a working day.
Every day count taken from UU 23/2006 on the page now reads working days, and the SKTT section quotes the elucidation of Pasal 17(3) and suggests, for a period that runs from an event, counting calendar days and, for a deadline before an event (Pasal 22(1), 63(4)), counting working days back, which gives the earlier date in both cases. The page also says that for Pasal 63(4) and 64(9) the working-day count is the 2006 elucidation on its face, because UU 24/2013 rewrote those articles without repeating it. The immigration deadlines are not affected: Permenkumham 22/2023 defines a day as a calendar day.

The elucidation of Pasal 17(3) of UU 23/2006 says that a day in the articles after it means a working day.
The page now reads 60 working days and notes that UU 24/2013 rewrote Pasal 27(1) and 32(1) without repeating the definition, so the reading rests on the 2006 elucidation. It suggests counting calendar days from the birth, which gives the earlier date.

The taxes and official costs page said that fees for agents are agreed privately. Since 5 October 2025 Permendag 33/2025 sets a range for the commission of a property agency: at least 2 and at most 5 percent of the transaction value for a sale, and at least 5 and at most 8 percent for a rental. By our reading a long lease (hak sewa) is a rental in law and the text does not treat it separately, so by its wording the rental range applies to it.
The sentence now leaves agent fees out of the private fees and points to How to check a professional, which gives the range.

The building permits page now points to the map page, which gives the OSS status of each RDTR as recorded on 1 October 2026 from the ATR/BPN Protaru register, and says that the status can change. It still tells the reader to ask the kabupaten office which form of KKPR applies to the plot.

The Bali programmes page, the FAQ answer on banjar fees and the selling and leaving page said we found no provincial rule that sets an amount or a cap for contributions asked of newcomers, or no official text on the dues a banjar may ask, and the Bali programmes page said the law does not say whether dues asked of residents are voluntary.
The Bali programmes page and the FAQ answer now say that Pergub Bali 34/2019 defines dudukan as a mandatory contribution of tamiu and krama tamiu and, as amended by Pergub 55/2022, requires it to follow a standard set by the provincial MDA. They give the ceiling in rice value of MDA decision 03/2022 (1.5 kg for a tamiu with a home in the village, 1 kg for a tamiu who rents for 35 days or more, none for shorter stays), say punia is voluntary and that a pararem must be registered, and note that the decision is an MDA guideline, not a Perda or Pergub. The selling and leaving page now says we found no official text on settling with the banjar at a sale and points to the Bali programmes page for what a desa adat may ask of tamiu.
