How this list works

Sources are official institutions: ministries and agencies, the Bali provincial government, the kabupaten and kota governments, land offices and immigration offices, and the state news agency. We do not use developers, agents, personal accounts of office holders, party channels or tourism promotion.

Headlines are shown as published, in their original language, with a language label and a link to the original. We do not summarise or translate them, and we show no images, captions or embeds, so opening this page sends nothing to the sources.

A headline is not a statement by Respek Bali, and we have not checked it. Items about elections, parties, offers for sale, companies, named people and individual cases are left out. The text we add is the topic tag and, on some items, a short explanatory note in our own words, marked with who checked it. General information, not legal advice.

Dates are publication dates in Bali time (WITA). Each issue covers one week, Monday to Sunday, and is published after a review.
